2022 Championship Rules
Sign Up
- All sign ups must be submitted online
- The sign up form will close on Sunday 29th May 2022 at 8pm
- The Veterans tournaments are open to players aged over 45 years old
- Players must be available to play on finals weekend, on both days at all times
Draws
- All draws will be published online from early June 2022
- All draws will be updated after each play by date & published online
- Every player is responsible for checking the draws throughout the tournament
- The finals weekend order of play will be posted online a minimum of 3 days before the 17th Sept
Arranging Matches
- A minimum of 3 dates must be offered
- All matches must be completed before the listed play by dates
- Everyone is responsible for contacting their opponents & partners to arrange matches
- If there is a problem arranging a match, you must contact Head Coach Gemma prior to the listed play by date, click here
Match Rules
- All finals must be played on Finals weekend
- All matches are best of 3 sets, with a tiebreak in the first two sets & a long third set
- All matches should be played within the LTA Fair Play Values of enjoyment and respect
- The winning player/pair are responsible for reporting their scores online within 24 hours of match completion, click here
Extras
- Court bookings must be made online, with all players listed in the booking
- Players must provide their own match tennis balls except on Finals Weekend
- Tennis balls will be available for general use in the clubhouse above the floodlight boxes
- Matches must not be played during any club social or event, without prior organisers consent
- If players become unavailable for finals weekend, they must concede on match point in their relevant semi-final
- Injuries or illness will not be considered as a reason to postpone/move any match past their play by dates or postpone/move any final
